Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MeterFlow (the “Service”), operated by Fulvio Antonio Cosco Barletta, a sole trader trading as MeterFlow (“MeterFlow”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to that organisation.

1. The Service

MeterFlow is a usage-based billing and metering platform. It provides a REST API, software development kits (SDKs), and a web dashboard that let you record usage events, manage credit balances, define plans and meters, and enforce limits within your own application. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

3. Plans, fees and billing

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service, including usage events, customer identifiers, and configuration (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Your Data solely to provide and maintain the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and lawful basis to submit Your Data, including any personal data relating to your own customers.

Where Your Data includes personal data of your own customers, we process it on your behalf as a processor. Our Data Processing Agreement applies to that processing and forms part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, SDKs, documentation, and brand, is owned by MeterFlow and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party providers (for example, payment processing by Paddle and email delivery). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, and your use of their services may be subject to their own terms.

8. Warranties and disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeterFlow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeterFlow from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Data, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time, as described in the Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive (including sections 5–10) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice in the dashboard). Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you rights in your place of residence.
